An editor with over 25 years of experience, I have cut programmes for all the major broadcasters, including BAFTA-winning productions.
I have built a strong reputation working primarily in documentary and factual, though my background spans drama, comedy, promos and commercials. I bring a calm, collaborative and easy-going approach to every edit, and I love the process of finding a compelling story within the rushes. Brimming with creative ideas and strong skills in structuring narratives, I am also organised, diligent and confident in dealing with complex projects involving large amounts of footage.
As my credits demonstrate, I enjoy working on a wide range of productions and adapt easily to their varied demands, from tough and sensitive subject matter to lighter and more humorous themes – all with their individual challenges and rewards. I have cut many new series, often cutting the first episode, as well as multiple single documentaries.
I primarily use Avid Media Composer and can easily work remotely using my own editing kit.
